In modern work and personal life, productivity is very important, but procrastination is still a common challenge. People lack some external incentives to improve their motivation to complete their tasks.
TaskTogether is an innovative task management app designed to provide external motivation to help individuals fight against procrastination. By integrating gamification elements and a collaborative team mode, TaskTogether makes managing tasks both fun and engaging.
Users can participate in challenges, earn rewards, and interact within their teams, enhancing their productivity and establishing strong accountability networks.

Reminder function is a common attribute in all applications. - Users can customize the function of the Reminder, and users can set the frequency, strength, and form of the reminder.
All apps have calendar functionalities that allow users to visualize their progress and objectives in the future. - Different view modes of the calendar, such as Month, Day, Week, List, and Timeline.
Store elements in Habitica are a good way of incentives. People get more points to buy various props by completing tasks.

In modern work and personal life, productivity is very important, but procrastination is still a common challenge. People lack some external incentives to improve their motivation to complete their tasks.
More than 20% of adults have the habit of procrastinating, and 80%-95% of students have the habit of procrastinating from time to time, of which 50% procrastinate consistently. - There are still many people fighting against procrastination.
Procrastinators often seek “ephemeral pleasures” such as watching a TV show or spending time with friends instead of working on an important task. - People know the tasks they need to complete but don't want to start.
One social factor, which may influence procrastination, is group work among students. Compared to individual work, group work can enhance individual effort and performance when the individual's contribution is indispensable for group success.” - Team cooperation is an intervention method that can be considered.
Many task management apps fail to keep users engaged over time. The routine nature of listing and checking off tasks can become monotonous and uninspiring, leading to decreased use of the app. - Add some gamification elements to boost user engagement and provide a powerful motivational boost.
When we procrastinate, we often choose immediate pleasure over long-term reward. By creating a reward system, you can train your mind to associate accomplishing difficult tasks with positive emotions. - The reward mechanism is a good way to connect the completion of the task with positive emotions.

Individuals Struggling with Procrastination -The target audience users are those who fight against procrastination, especially those who need to gain motivation from external conditions.
They may need some positive emotions brought by rewards, or they need the encouragement of others or stimulate themselves through the progress of others.
Next is conducting user interviews to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges users face. My interview script aims to achieve the following goals:
To know what psychology and reasons cause users to habitually procrastinate in completing tasks.
To know what types of external incentives are acceptable to users.
Then find out how they would feel if they completed the task in a group with strangers or friends.

How might we transform the individual challenge of task management into a collaborative and engaging experience that motivates users to fight against procrastination and enhances productivity through gamification and team dynamics?
Based on feature exploration, I started doing the UI design of the app. At the beginning, I made information architecture and user flow of main features to have a clear mind of the content of the app.

After confirming the information structure and user flow, I started the prototype design based on the sketch and conducted user testing with this version.
I conducted user testing interviews with friends and 2 UI&UX designers to obtain some feedback on the features and the flow of the product. I got many really good suggestions, which I took into account and modified the prototype.
